URS Nordic AB is present in Sweden, in Stockholm (Solna) and Malmö (Triangeln), and also in Finland, Helsinki. The Environmental Services division at URS Nordic has grown significantly and now consists of an established team of contaminated land, due diligence and infrastructure professionals working with large clients throughout the Nordic region.
We are looking for an experienced EHS professional to join our EHS team – (location could be either Stockholm or Malmö).
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our core business is EHS Due Diligence and EHS compliance audits, but we are also expanding in delivering EHS services to demolition, construction and infrastructure projects, e.g. H&S supervision (BAS) and green building and infrastructure certification.
You will manage and deliver EHS projects throughout the Nordic region. Work includes client contact and client management. Depending on your background and preferences the role may include business development. As a senior you are expected to be experienced in at least one of the areas above and willing to share that knowledge with more junior staff. You are also expected to be willing to learn and support in projects outside your current knowledge areas – we are consultants and may not always afford to be picky.
You are a team worker but with enough confidence and initiative to drive your projects on your own.
WE REQUIRE:
For this Role, you will have a Degree or Diploma/s in Master degree within environmental engineering or science (biology, geology, chemistry, environment). In addition to this, you will have the following experience and skills, necessary for this role:
1. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience of some EHS related work. Experience can include e.g. EHS due diligence, EHS compliance audits, EHS management
systems, Environmental authority (miljötillsyn) for industries or EHS coordination in construction or infrastructure projects. Experience in project management is preferable.
2. Fluency in English and one Scandinavian language is essential, both speaking and writing.
3. Basic software knowledge (office package) and drivers license required. The work require travel within the Nordics, on average a couple of days per month, but could at times be more frequent or longer.
